Anna North of jezebel.com interviewed me about how to deal with doctors who are judgemental of your weight. Her article also discusses how to deal with doctors who are judgemental of your sexuality.

The general warning not to read comments if you are easily triggered definitely applies--your interview is great but omg, there is a woman gushing in the comments because her doctor liposuctioned her without asking after removing her ovarian cyst, and she thinks this was a helpful and benevolent act. There is so much not getting it I cannot decide if the commenter is completely brainwashed and the doctor really did that (sadly both are possible) or if we are being very cleverly trolled.

I've seen other semi-trolly comments on Jezebel.

In Firefox, I've found the CommentBlocker add-on to be very useful - I often want to read articles like this (and this was a good one!) but I'm a fast reader and I've usually seen two or three of the comments before my brain has even registered that it's time to stop now! So now I can read articles like this without then triggering myself.
