fabric & patterns & vests, oh my!

My sweetie jwermont took me to a fabric store in Berkeley this evening. (I don't remember the name, just that it was on Shattuck.) After drooling over many cotton prints, I thought I might put a patchwork vest into my long list of projects and so I began poking through pattern books, and I found a particularly cool one, from a company that also has a web site: Dos de Tejas patterns. I'm especially taken by the Chelsea Vest. Their patterns only go up to size 20, though.

Yay for discounts!

You know my scrub shirt with the black Japanese cat print? They also have it in a really nice royal blue, as well as the red that jwermont got; I think you saw that at my craft party.

I did avoid buying anything there, because I have a huge pile of fat quarters I got from leandra333's mom's garage sale several years ago, and [sternly] I should at least do something with those before buying more fabric.
