I saw Catch Me If You Can (2002 film) in the theater back in the day, and remember thinking it was good at showing a character who was fooling himself along with others -- I didn't think we were supposed to root for him per se. I'd forgotten Walken was in it!

I've seen a much older BBC version of Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?, and liked it, and read it, too.
