Yeah, I know what you mean about the zone not being big enough for computer work - mine seems to be okay since I work with a laptop literally on my lap, but Dan's progressives are useless for computer work, we're going to have to have them remade.

I got a pair of single-vision driving glasses, too, complete with Progressive lenses. Of course, Progressive basic lenses *don't work* in cars, because they use UV rays to know when to change. Bah!

The Very Expensive Trifocals come with magnetic clip on shades.

I've seen my girlfriend's automatically darkening glasses and I know they wouldn't ever get dark enough for me. I wear fit-over sunglasses because they darken the view out the sides as well as the front. (They are enormous—more evidence of dorkiness.)
