What she said. I generally crosspost my DW/LJ stuff, but that's because for me it's the same bunch of people in both places.
I assume that everybody and their cousin is going to read my fb stuff, so it's mostly innocuous, with most of the interesting things in comment on other people's stuff.
Don't know what the right metaphor is, but it's more than just being noticed from afar, because, well, when you get noticed from afar everyone has a million-power zoom lens with a time machine attached to it...
