michele and i did an alaskan cruise, many, many years ago. we had juneau, skagway and ketchikam and glacier bay also--not the endicott arm, though, iirc. we sailed out of vancouver, though. i did get seasick one night. i recall that it was very heteronormative and that we felt odd and that we were disappointed that we didn't see more wildlife. we went on the last cruise of the seasson--end of aug/early sept or whenever that is. the ship we were on had mostly filipino service and white passengers--that felt VERY weird. but alaska itself was beautiful!! i really enjoyed reading about your trip!
