Thank you for this write-up. I would love to do an Alaskan cruise someday. I've been on two cruises, both in the Caribbean. The first cruise I went on was with another couple who were friends of ours (we had separate rooms). I think my preference would be to go on a cruise with friends, as I'm not very comfortable socializing with strangers.
