Thanks so much for posting this detailed write-up. It made me think that maybe cruising would be fun and manageable after all. The often lusted after equivalent cruise for us would probably be the Norwegian coastal cruise, which I haven't looked into in a few years, but which used to be possible on a mailboat instead of a regular cruise boat. I might start looking into it again, though sadly, experience with David on canal boating holidays makes me pretty sure he would hate it. Marjorie and I would probably love it though.
