Never did watch any football today. Attended the OH's poly-folks dim sum outing. Other attendees included fannyfiga and leandra333.

Napped, spent a lot of time posting to alt.poly, watched a fairly predictable Hong Kong fantasy romance movie called Midnight Express, in which Michelle Yeoh had far too small a part, and ate pizza.

The folks who made my touchable scarf are called Knitz & Leather and they're located in San Francisco.

This is where I thank you for bringing Celebration of Craftswomen to my attention. Now if I could only get some information on how to participate next year...

I expect their web site has some contact info about that. If not, the San Francisco Women's Building web site might, because the celebration of craftswomen benefits the women's building.

The Raiders game was fun (i.e., they won handily) and the Broncos-Colts game reminded me why I like the Bay Area (the game was played in snow that got heavier as the game went on), but it was an exciting game. The Colts kicker, who had been in a bit of a slump this year, hit a career-long 54 yard FG at the end of the game to send it to overtime ad then kicked a 51 yarder (into the wind) to win it.@

The Cincinnati game was fun. And, ooo! the craftswomen.

My mother-out-law has apparently suggested a new career for me: web storefront for cooperative crafts; rural, developing countries, small artists, etc. The part about travelling to buy from the local artists sounds most fun.
