Alan Rickman is one of my favorite actors. Although less so than usual in the HP movies, I think he's incredibly sexy. And that guy who plays Lucious (luscious?) Malfoy is... yum.

I have not seen "Sense and Sensibility." Otherwise, I have a real fondness for his turn as Hans Gruber in "Die Hard" and as the angel Metatron in "Dogma." (geekchick tells me, after consulting IMdB, that he did a voice role on "King of the Hill" once. The mind reels.)

Definitely see "Sense and Sensibility." Also see "Truly, Madly, Deeply," "Blow Dry," "Galaxy Quest," and "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves" (which is actually not a very good movie, but Alan Rickman is utterly marvelous in it. If necessary, fast-forward through the parts he's not in).

I haven't seen "Dogma" yet, but I've got it from NetFlix at this very moment.

I've never seen "King of the Hill."

Alan Rickman is also in a music video, but I've forgotten the details.

Actually, for a while, I wondered if Rickman was playing both parts, but he wasn't. Per http://www.imdb.com , Lucius Malfoy (and yes, I keep wanting to type that as "luscious") was acted by Jason Isaacs.
