I love moss...at the old house in Indy I had a very shady area where I planted lots of hostas and lily of the valley and managed to find some moss in the forest and brought it home and encouraged it to grow on the trunk of the tree and under the edges of the plants, it was a beautiful little shade garden...I'm hoping I can duplicate it here. Sigh..how depressing, I'm going to have to relandscape this house...and we are so broke, I don't know how I'm going to get the plants. Go about and swipe cuttings from other neighborhoods I guess? LOL....I have a whole booklet of seeds I've scavenged that way (although I have usually asked if I may take a sample of the seeds....) Maybe my mum will send me some plants to help me get started.

Looking outside it's hard to believe I will ever garden again, we have SO MUCH SNOW!!! And it's snowing again......OH but I wish I could have planted a bunch of daffodils and tulips and crocus and hyacinth before we moved in, so I would have something to watch for this coming spring!!!
