Lampworked glass things
Here are some things I made in my lampworking class last weekend.

kitty face bead

my attempted marbles broke, so I glued them onto this collage I made on an AOL CD

my signature color (to distinguish my work from other people's once it went in the kiln) was orange, so I wound up with a bunch of tiny orange beads

this bead got permanently stuck to the mandrel (metal stick) because there wasn't enough bead separator fluid on the mandrel, so it's now a planter decoration

filigrina, black and purple glass twisted together

shell-shaped beads

beads with spirals

a blue penguin

Those are so beautiful...and even more so because you made them with your own hands.

yes, "penguin." At 1 inch long, it's a bit small to be useful as what you might have been thinking it resembled. ;-)
