Missing the plus-one or like feature of certain other social media sites?

kate_nepveu has some tips for people coming to DW from G+ here.

This code (swiped from kate_nepveu) adds a plus-one feature to your post:

I just prefer words, and I also really hate how everything on Twitter and Tumblr and even AO3 is sorted by thumbs-up type votes. Newspaper stories, photos on Instagram and Flickr, wherever it is, it's all rated. I doubt that's going to come to DW, but this is not a good start.

Oh yeah, I definitely wouldn't want things SORTED by likes or plusses or whatever.

Yeah, and I doubt an innocent CSS hack is going to do it, it's just....that's the way the entire internet is now (and it was a driving principle on Tumblr).
