Euw, I've been slimed!

Someone stuck a weight loss ad onto the side view mirror of my car.

Someone walked up to me in Kroger the other day and handed me an Herbalife ad. I just said "no thank you" and gave it back to her. I thought it was because I was fat, but then I saw her hand them to quite a few other women of all sizes.

Ya know what's weird (and even a little amusing). On first glance I read that as "Euw, I've been slimmed!"--before I even read the contents of the entry.

Being slimmed (or being exhorted to be slim) without consent is definitely slimey.

I had somebody try to sign me up for some weight-loss product while I was waiting for a friend at the airport.

I got up in his face -- I towered over him -- and started rumbling, "Are you trying to call me fat..?"

Poor guy bolted like a hare. It was great fun.

Hee hee hee.

Let's take Siobhan out and have her tower at people.

towering inferno

Heh. Only works on very little people.

(I was all spiked up in anticipation of a night of clubbing too, so that probably helped.)

I'm sure it's not personal

Actually, any form of non-consensual advertising is icky.

But, you shouldn't take this personally: I'm sure you get a
lot of email spam offering to help you increase the size of your
penis, too. (I get email every so often for bigger boobs.)

P.S.: Side mirror? How does *that* work?

I liked your reaction and got a giggle out of it. That's about how I feel whenever I see one of those ads sticking out of my windshield for anything.
