Well for one person in particular, for the last post with 122 comments, a clue by 4 might work better.

Sorry just hear that same whine from the same person before.

The disagreement, as far as I can tell, is not between the women themselves but between their "followers" (The people of Church of All Worlds and the people who read alt.polyamory).

...when someone says "I've been poly all my life", and you snicker at the thought of them toddling around in diapers, planning their perfect V before they were even verbal.

...when people who recently announced via a newsgroup, discussion board, email list or "community" that they "have been poly all their life" start giving (crappy) advice online to people who have just announced they "have been poly all their life".

...when you only visit "communities" like polyamory because someone on your LJ "friends" list has mentioned or linked to a post.

...when you sit back and laugh at people who start pulling rank: "Well, I've been polyamorous for 20 years." "Oh, that's nothing... I was a polyamorous high priestess in Atlantis", etc...

...when you wish there was a community for people who really have been polyamorous for quite some time, who don't rehash lots of basic 101 type questions ad nauseum.

As for the style of community you mention, folksdoingstuff was more or less intended for that. It doesn't get a lot of traffic, but I hope you join.
