So Chicago has now been watched by the last two people in the universe who hadn't yet seen it.

Queen Latifah is hothothot.

We both liked [livejournal.com profile] lysana's performance of "Roxie" (at karaoke a month or two ago) better than Renée Zellweger's.

Not quite. I haven't seen it yet either.

Me four (and we even own the DVD!).

I'm such a movie-slacker...

Actually, the four of us just watched it tonight.

And yes, Queen Latifah burns up the screen. Catherine Zeta-Jones is gorgeous too. And who knew Richard Gere could sing?

I dunno if I've seen it or not. I definitely haven't heard it. It was playing on an airplane on which I was unsuccessfully trying to sleep. I didn't listen to it. Every time I opened my eyes to move around, I watched some of it and tried to make sense of it. It was very trippy that way. I wasn't intrigued enough to either put on the earphones or buy a ticket to the stage show in London.

Not only have I not seen it, but I distinctly plan on not seeing it.

Musicals are nearly always a *very* bad idea for me. I tend to greatly dislike them.

avoiding chicago

i have an unexplained antipathy to catherine zeta-jones, so i tend to avoid movies that feature her, unless it's the only thing on tv and i am in the mood for tv watching.

if you really wanted to turn me off, just have her, antonio banderas, majel roddenberry, and john ritter all in the same movie. *shudder*. must take shower now.

I loved Chicago. The one musical number from it I'd like to be able to do myself is Queen Latifah's. Sigh.
