I feel guilty

I stuck Advantage flea medicine on the back of Biscuit (my cat)'s neck. She has been unsuccessfully trying to reach that spot to lick off the medicine for the past 20 minutes.

awwww.

My kitty did that the first few time I Advantage'd her, but now she just glares at me and runs under the bed. Which is not as cute, but probably more comfortable for her in general.

Aw, poor thing! I hate it when I do something my cat doesn't like and then she's all uncomfortable and I can't even 'splain it to her. :-(

One of our cats turned out to be allergic to Advantage, which we figured out in part because he would really scream and writhe when we put it on the back of his neck. Today I tried him with Frontline, which is (I'm told) chemically very different, and he seemed to mind much less. And he certainly isn't being jumpy and weird today, after leaving the house in a huff once medicated.

The other cat considers Advantage to be one of those odd things humans do.
