50143 - yay me!

The 50K+ words represent about 1/2 to 2/3 of the skeleton of a story. (OK, a skeleton and bunch of internal organs, maybe). Once I finish that, then I have to clean up the inconsistencies and darn up the plot-holes-the-size-of-a-planet, and then add more detail. I hope I'll stay motivated to do that over the next [amount of time]. (I'm allowing myself a year, but I hope it takes less time.)
I added an excerpt to my nanowrimo profile (username stef).
Is anyone going to the SF wrap party?
More thoughts after my brain comes back online.

I won't be going to the wrap party either - long drive, bad parking situation, conflict with previous sort-of-commitment I'd need to get out of, desire to be back here by ten to meet houseguest, big trip tomorrow... Anyhow. I offer my sincerest congratulations, toasts, and general party goofiness as best I can in this forum.
