I hear it's good to set your auctions to end on the weekend. I've never done a study of this either.
Yeah, though if you're on the other end of the transaction you may be pretty happy to see an auction that ends at, say 12:45 a.m. Pacific time on a weekday, because you're not very likely to have a lot of competition at the last minute driving the price up.
Especially for kind of off-beat collector's-items type stuff, I also recommend posting *one* auction-announcement message to an *appropriate* Usenet newsgroup if one exists.
