Latest jewelry scans

One sead-bead-net sample that I made last weekend, and one copper wirework bracelet, which I made in November 2002. A photo of the bracelet's clasp is already on my Jewelry page but this is the first chance I've had to scan the whole bracelet (it was lost - turned out the couch had eaten it).




Seed-bead-net: The scan doesn't show the brilliant sparkle of the red beads, which are silver-lined.



Wirework bracelet: Cool what can be done with a hunk of cheap hardware store wire and a few hours in front of the DVD player (I was watching Mona Lisa while making some of it, and Coupling while making the rest.)

Ooh! Nice. Is there a source for directions on how to do that seed bead net? Or is that one of those "any beading book will do" sorts of projects?

really lovely! how does the net work -- i.e., how is it worn?

It's just a sample. I'm trying to think how to extend it into a bracelet or necklace. You could also sew it onto something, I suppose.
