what strikes me as totally weird is that it has a community each for LJ support and LJ abuse members. say what?
my theory is that a lot of people are simply using communities as they would use interest keywords on LJ -- to indicate conveniently what all they're interested in. since the interface does in fact suck, that's not a bad subversion.

I seem to be using the communities the way I use interest keywords on LJ, too.
And yes, the interface sucks. I'm supposed to describe my sense of humor with a DROP-DOWN LIST OF FIVE CHOICES?
