Bubble bath / bath salts

I want to celebrate my new bathtub. Please recommend favorite bubble bath / balt salts / bath bomb products! I generally like woody, piney, and fruity scents but not flower scents. (My favorite soap is Dr. Bronner's Peppermint.)

Oooh.
I am completely in love with Philosophy (http://www.philosophy.com) bath products ... the samplers are mostly food-scents, but they're darn tasty smellin'.

Various flavours of Ombra foambath - especially Juniper. It also comes in Lavender, Rosemary, and a few others.

Aura Cacia's Tranquility Salts is my all-time favorite... most of their salts have piney/woody oils mixed in (as does Tranquility), so you might like some others as well. Soothing Heat and Purify are also very good.

Enjoy! :)

Ahhh-Veeno

Anything by Aveeno is guaranteed to make your skin feel amazing.
I never had dry skin in Georgia and after living in CA for 4 years I tried Aveeno and found out my poor skin was thirsty.

Now I can't get my hands off myself! I feel amazing. I especially like the bath oil.

Bath products

The Body shop used to have a line of cedarwood bath products inspired by japanese spas. But they seem not to have them anymore.

The cocoa butter products have a definate cocoa smell.

Jo Malone looks lovely, but I don't think they ship to the US

I second the recommendation for Lush products. You might like the one called Amando Pondo.

Count me as a third recommendation for Lush stuff.

You might try the Karma bubble bar or bath ballistic; it's got orange and some other stuff in it, and is spicy yummy amazing. The Hot Toddy bubble bar was pretty good, although one does have moments of wondering if one now smells like an alcoholic beverage. The Dreamtime bath melt is AMAZING. The Karma bath melt is also amazing but will fill your bathtub and your entire house with gold glitter for months.

The Lush site has feedback and recommendations, which have been very helpful to me. They let very negative reactions stand, which I think is good of them. I'm sorting out what sort of customer I am, and finding that I fall into certain camps: Karma good; American Cream smells like plastic doll hair; that violet thing looks pretty but smells like unpleasant old lady flower things; Honey I Washed the Kids has a stupid name but smells like... ohgod it's so good I cannot describe it. They don't make a bath ballistic in HIWTK, or I'd have recommended it first. It's so very, very good. Like creme caramel, or ... well, it's just completely decadent, and nice soap, too.

Uh, I guess that's a recommendation, then.

Will you be at the Second Sunday this weekend? I can bring you some homemade bath salts and a variety of home-blended scents for you to choose from.

Foaming or non-foaming?

Davies Gate Sage

(Whereas mine is complicated floral Thymes Goldleaf for winter and Filgaree for Summer.)

I don't do the whole bath thing myself, so I can't recommend a specific one, but I'm a fan of all of the products by Lush (http://www.lush.com/) (I use their soaps and shampoos and such), and I've heard from many people that they're bath bombs are very good.

The Body Shop has great aromatherapy scents. My favorite is lavender, but the bergamot might be more up your alley.

I will ship you a couple of Lush things if you give me your address!

I'll add my own nods towards Lush and also recommend Avon. They have great bubble baths (my 3yr old loves them all!)
