What's funny about this "knitting class" meme mostly isn't the names that it randomly picked but the fact that I probably could name at least one knitter on my friends list who fits each of those things.

I'll cop to owning too many knitting books.

Why do you think it's too many?

Too much overlap -- books that serve no real purpose because their content is basically duplicated elsewhere. Too many patterns I don't like/won't make/too similar to one another. That sort of thing. But I'm too much of a packrat to actually get rid of any, though I probably will eventually.

Got it. I own almost no knitting books (Knitting without Tears, and some one gave me a copy of Maggie Righetti's book). I get them from the library, often via interlibrary loan. Sometimes I borrow from friends. So I'm totally at the other end of the spectrum.

They missed me: won't knit anything too simple.
