...and as a reward for swimming...

...I ordered myself four Joe Satriani CDs from amazon sellers and half.com.

Joe Satriani Rocks - in both meanings of the word!

My favs of his are Surfing with the Alien and Flying in a Blue Dream.

Yay for swimming followed by surfin' with the alien.

(Didya order Crystal Planet? I don't own it but I want it so I guess that means I ought to get out or online and buy it for myself some time.)

What did you order?

Oh, definitely worth investigating. If you've got something with Crush of Love on it (possibly Live in San Francisco does), I'd be interested in what you think of it. It's the piece that got me acquainted with Satriani and it still puts me in incredible head space when I hear it (though I prefer the studio recording on (short) album Dreaming #11, to any of the live recordings I've heard.)

If I were a fangirl sort of person, I'd be a Satriani fangirl. Instead I just get all excited when I think about his music, and have a "wow" appreciation of it whenever it occurs to me to listen to it.
