How sad is it that I actually came up with a use for that? This year's Burning Man theme is "The Green Man," but grass skirts (MOOPtastic things that they are) are highly discouraged. This piece of fug solves that nicely.
It still deserves to go up on You Knit What? Part Two (and I'm so thrilled that someone took up the needles when the original You Knit What? closed).
Does it make my taste suspect that I would like it, if it were a completely different color? (I'm thinking a mauve-y heathered purple.) I don't know, I'm not fringe adverse. I have something quite similar to this jacket, but in purple (http://www.blanchesplace.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/L152-preview.jpg) and I don't know if it still fits but I felt like a size 28 goddess the last time I sported it. And I spun around. A lot.

Thanks for letting me know that You Knit What is back! ...um... I think. I submitted it.

But the skirt is knit out of the same material that the fringe is made out of and there's too much fringe and it looks all messy.
It's certainly possible that some people could rock it, though!
