Oooh, I wish I could do that. I can't even watch TV and knit at the same time. I can just barely carry on a conversation and knit at the same time.

I do garter stitch when I want really mindless knitting. Thus, the several log cabin quilts last year.

I don't remember when I learned to knit and read at the same time, it was probably about the time I learned how to read, seeing as I knew how to knit before that.

Now, you can start the hunt for good bookholders. Let me know if you find a portable one you like. I haven't yet.
