Pattern: Thuja by Bobby Ziegler
Made for: Dad
Needles: DPNs: US 3 / 3.25 mm (leg and heel flap), US 2 / 2.75 mm (foot)
Yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash. Less than 3 skeins; not sure how much less, because I made another sock with some of it.

Notes:
Clear, easy pattern. The only pattern modification I made is that I'm knitting it with two colors. There's only so much navy blue knitting I can stand...



Still on the needles so he can try it on before I finish it.

I bought the fixins for sock making over the summer and I have yet to start. I think I am nervous or something. I do think that after my current project I am going to take the plunge :)

Yay! Socks aren't hard, especially top-down. I didn't think it made sense to knit socks given that you can buy them so cheaply, but my knitted socks make me so happy :)
