Get a Dreamwidth account without an invite code

Now, how do I find my friends there?

Okay, but I don't even know how to do a search. I looked through the FAQ and couldn't find anything other than how to search on interests.

You can search on email address or username in the drop down menu at the top of your journal page. (To search on username, use the "site and account" option.)
