Interviewer's best line:
Le Guin received me in the parlor, but we soon moved out onto the veranda, in part to escape the fierce attentions of her cat.

Le Guin's funniest line:
My tentacles are coming out of the pigeonhole in all directions.
ysabetwordsmith: Cartoon of me in Wordsmith persona (Default)

Nice interview! As much as I love "The Left Hand of Darkness", "The Lathe of Heaven" and "The Dispossessed", I think my favorite of her books is "Always Coming Home". I have the edition with the cassette tape, which I should play again, and perhaps see about getting someone to transfer it to CD or MP3.

That's a fun interview. Interesting to see how she experienced the changes that have opened up science fiction and fantasy from their beginnings.
