Yum

I love Planet Organics. They deliver a customized box of organic produce to our door every two weeks.

Yesterday, the OH made:
organic baby spinach with a sauce featuring pignolia nuts and dried apricots
steamed organic artichokes with lemon-mayonnaise sauce

This morning, I made:
eggs scrambled in peanut and sesame oil with organic poblano chilis and onions, topped with a dollop of cream cheese

Mmmmm. I think the organic delivery services are a great idea- I haven't done it myself simply because it's just me here, and I have this fear that I won't use the veggies in time before they go bad. For some reason I feel really guilty when I let produce go bad.
I love the idea though. I know lots of folks who do it up here.

I live on my own too, and I stopped getting an organic delivery box because of Vegetable Guilt.

And Organic Vegetable Guilt is worse than the ordinary kind.

*lol* that it is.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who suffers from this.

Your eggs sound too spicy for me, but the spinach and artichokes sound great.

Dang. If I had an easy way of reciprocating the hospitality, I'd be angling for a dinner invite.

I love them! The heirloom tomatoes this summer were incredible, the squash has been wonderful. The lettuces! The peppers! Oh, hell, *all* of it! I've been very pleased :).

I looked at them, but alas, I don't use $12.50/week of produce. It's just me and sometimes Warren, and he prefers to eat frozen vegetables (remember, this is the man who cooks "gray food").
