1978. Suburban Milwaukee. Roller rink. Roller skates with big fluffy pompoms. Skating to Ballroom Blitz and MacArthur Park. Roller rink parking lot. Mustangs. Chevelles. Bonnie Bell Lip Smackers. Cruising Highway 100. Smoking pot. Wishing we were older.

I shocked myself by taking out the Sex Pistols. Added Led Zeppelin. Would have added Prince, too, if I could add 2.

I bumped the Eagles up a bit.

I think I'm too old, musically speaking, to be Gen X, as evidenced by this meme.

Here I am, replying to myself when I ought to be sleeping.

I need to clarify that for me, Fleetwood Mac means Fleetwood Mac pre-Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham. Not the Fleetwood Mac that was on the charts when I was listening as a kid, but the Fleetwood Mac I came to appreciate later. However, I have nothing against Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, in fact, one of my very favorite albums is "Buckingham/Nicks". I just think both bands were better before they joined forces.
