BAKICIDW/LJ - iPod touch app recommendations

I am the somewhat dubious owner of a new iPod Touch. Where should I go to get recommendations about apps? The App Store is overwhelming.

I use Stanza as a reader and TweetDeck for twitter. I use the GoodReads app for book wishlists, though that only works for me a) because I have a GoodReads account all set up and full of books and b) when I have a wifi connection.
