This is a cat I photographed at Peninsula Humane Society. He is called Wayne. Doesn't he have loads of personality?

Wayne reminds me a little of Rick the Cat (Bloom County) but without the drugs. I hope he finds a good home soon.

Thanks! It was my first knotting project and I was very slow, so it took a long time compared to just stringing the beads. But I often make jewelry using wire loops, which also takes a long time, and I've done a fair amount of seed beading, which is even slower.

It's about 32" long, but the beaded strands are more like 22" and the rest is a simple macrame cord.

Glad the "stupid dogs" sign was appreciated. I've been back to that street three times and haven't seen any sign of the dogs, stupid or otherwise. Maybe they're being kept indoors for their own good.

Why's he shaved on the neck? His face is shorter than most tuxedo cats, he must have had a parent who was a speciality breed.

Oh my god, too much eye candy in one post - I'm going to explode!!

Wayne looks adorable. He has a certain rakishness about him, as though he just ambled in and wants to know where the party is, dude. :) I hope he gets adopted soon.

Oh, and the Bloom County cat is Bill the Cat. He was always a favorite, with his tongue hanging out and one eye bigger than the other.
