Some photos

This is a cat I photographed at Peninsula Humane Society. He is called Wayne. Doesn't he have loads of personality?

This gives a bit better idea of how the Dragon's Garden necklace hangs.

Date: 16 Jun 2007 12:35 pm (UTC)I bet that necklace took a long time. Knots are time consuming but the result is wonderful. How long is it?

Date: 16 Jun 2007 05:07 pm (UTC)Thanks! It was my first knotting project and I was very slow, so it took a long time compared to just stringing the beads. But I often make jewelry using wire loops, which also takes a long time, and I've done a fair amount of seed beading, which is even slower.
It's about 32" long, but the beaded strands are more like 22" and the rest is a simple macrame cord.

Oh, and the Bloom County cat is Bill the Cat. He was always a favorite, with his tongue hanging out and one eye bigger than the other.
I LOVE the necklace. What wonderful colors!
