Some numbers.

I was under the impression that I’d written a lot less in 2024 than 2023, so it was a pleasant surprise to learn I actually published more words in 2024, although I wrote fewer total.

This is my fourth time participating in smut4smut, an exchange for (guess what) that's been running for five years. This year 280 works were created in 150 fandoms.

I wrote for an underappreciated canon, the Blake & Avery series by MJ Carter. It’s a carefully researched historical mystery series. Blake & Avery meet in the armed forces of the British East India company. Avery is the point-of-view character, a somewhat naive young man at the beginning of the narrative, and Blake is the jaded, older special ops soldier he’s forced into company with and becomes fascinated by. They are a delight to ship. The first book is set in India and the second two are set in London.
