I am a new-ish fan of K J Charles, who writes historical and fantasy gay romance. I like her stories because the protagonists usually have a fair amount of sense, although they have some internal and external societal prejudices to overcome. I wrote a story about the characters Guy Frisby/Philip Rookwood in Band Sinister.

I received a Marcus/Neroon Babylon 5 fic that was mysterious and romantic and epic in every sense of the word.

175 works posted in 142 fandoms — quite a lot more than last year.

I had a great time writing a fic for the movie 3:10 to Yuma — I really fell in love with the movie. Russell Crowe’s character had scorching chemistry with several other characters; it probably won’t be the last time I write fic for this movie.

I received a Lucifer fic that went in a delightfully different direction than I would have taken for those characters. That’s something I like about exchanges!
