It was a good weekend to get away from the Internet

The OH and I went to Half Moon Bay on Friday for a short vacation. We did have net access, but we didn't spend much time online, thereby remaining relatively unaffected by the LiveJournal outage and the hijacking of panix.com (except for Saturday morning when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with the local dial-up number I was attempting to use...the answer was "nothing - there's just something wrong with everything else").

However, if you sent me email over the weekend, and I didn't acknowlege it yet, it might have gotten eaten in the panix snafu, so please re-send.

And the LJ outage apparently didn't stop <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/firecat/friends/>y'all</a> from posting lots. I gave up trying to catch up after slogging back 180 posts, so if there's something you particularly want me to see, please let me know.
