Confused hummingbirds

firecatBoth yesterday and today, a ruby-throated hummingbird hovered within inches of the window screen to the left of my computer. It was close enough that I could hear its wings beating (unsurprisingly, they make a low humming/buzzing sound) and hear it chirping.
There was a cat in the window each time. I guess my cats look like yummy flowers.
