I've lived here five years and I've never been into the local yarn shop, Creative Hands, until today.
pleonastic dropped by there before visiting a couple of weeks ago, and came away with something very pretty, so it has been on my mind. I went in today on the pretext of getting knitting needles to wind jump rings on. I got the knitting needles, but I also ended up getting seduced by this.

The woman who sold it to me claimed I could make a 1-skein scarf out of it. We shall see...
