The OH and I put the movie Underworld on our Netflix queue even though it had bad reviews, because we figured it would have a good eye candy quotient and I'm pretty non-picky about vampire movies.
It turned out better than we expected. But the real find was the co-writer, Kevin Grevioux. He also plays
the big tough werewolf character, Rave, who shows up at the beginning of the movie.
I looked him up on IMDB and it turns out that along with being a writer and actor, he's got a degree in microbiology and he's a big comic book fan. He has started some comic book imprints. I'm reading his autobiography on his web site, http://www.kevingrevioux.net/ and I like what he has to say about getting his start in Hollywood and other topics. He has a funny, low-key writing style that reminds me a bit of J. Michael Straczynski (the creator of Babylon 5).
Seems like someone worth keeping an eye on.
