Breed Conformation Example: The Scruff Terrier

Bizzy Lizzy, currently up for adoption, shows exemplary conformation to the Scruff Terrier breed standard.

I love this dog to pieces.

When I first worked with her, she wouldn't come within reach, she danced back and forth out of reach of my hand, barking and wagging her tail. I had to sit still in her kennel for ten minutes before she came within reach.

When I touch her, she goes completely still.

She loves lying in my arms.

I can't adopt a dog, but if you adopt her, I will come visit!
(Or not, if that's more attractive.)

what a cute lil scrawny doggie!! i don't think my doggies would play nice with her, but you can come visit, anyway...my puppies are a lil bigger than her...110 and 125 lbs...heh.

You know.... for a minute there I seriously considered adopting this dog JUST to get you to come visit. I think I might be developing some sort of weird wombat personality disorder. :: giggle ::

is she tiny? it's hard to tell size.

i think it may have been a scruff terrier sort of dog that lived across the street from me when i was a kid. but that one was a teensy thing; maybe 15 pounds, i think.

She's pretty small. 15 pounds sounds about right.
