Thoughts:
I am esp. fond of the Orkney version:

as performed by Jean Redpath (she calls it "The Grey Silkie": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xri4piabTWg). But it is fine with me if you prefer to base your fic on another version. I am open to fic exploring any aspect of this story. How did the maid meet the silkie? What are the relationships like? Their backgrounds? What if the characters were to make different choices? (The maid agrees to marry the silkie? The gunner doesn’t shoot the silkie and the son?) I am also open to the story of the silkie himself, without a focus on the relationships, or focusing on his relationship with other silkies. Do they all seek out humans to bear their children? If not, why does he?

Lucifer
Thoughts/prompts:

• Amenadiel/Linda Martin/Lucifer - Linda does seem to attract the celestials, doesn't she? Even God (Johnson) seems quite attracted to her. Why is that? // Comfort sex, maybe centered around Linda's recovery from Charlotte/Mum's attack // Lucifer tries to play relationship therapist when Amenadiel and Linda are having issues.
• Amenadiel/Mazikeen/Lucifer - Maze doms them, just because // Maze and Lucifer decide that Amenadiel needs to learn more about sex, so he can make Linda happy. // Maze is having trouble making up her mind about the nature of her relationship with each or both of them. // Amenadiel tries to convince Lucifer to treat Maze better // They have knock-down, drag-out fights followed by wild hate sex (followed by hot-tubbing)
• Chloe Decker/Lucifer/Marcus Pierce - Lucifer and Marcus decide they are going to share Chloe instead of competing over her, and she goes along with it, at least temporarily. DNW a story strongly focused on Chloe's feeling she has to choose one or the other. OK if she is still thinking about whom to choose, although would prefer the option of “both” to at least be explicitly mentioned
• Dan/Lucifer/Amenadiel - They get together over mourning Charlotte // Amenadiel wants to convince Lucifer Dan is a cool guy // Dan finds out about Lucifer & Amenadiel being celestials
• Linda Martin/Lucifer - It's canonical! Let's be a fly on the wall. // They restart their sexual relationship after Linda ended it, because reasons. Maybe after Linda breaks up with Amenadiel.
• Lucifer/Marcus Pierce - So many options here, because they start antagonistic and suspicious, turn cooperative, even play husband and husband, become rivals for Chloe, and then become murderous toward each other. Would enjoy exploration of any of those phases of their relationship.
• Lucifer/Marcus Pierce/Amenadiel - fighting turns to sex - noncon or otherwise
• Lucifer/Original Character(s) - Maybe he picks them up at Lux
• Mazikeen/Lucifer - could be set in Hell, before the timeline of the show
• Michael/Lucifer/Mazikeen - AU where Michael is still an asshole but has some redeemable qualities or softens a little because he more cared for // Maze sees something in him that isn't completely obnoxious, and tries to get Lucifer to see it.

The Jungle Book - Rudyard Kipling [SAFETY]

Fandom-specific DNW:
Disney version of this story, because I don't know it very well and I like the more serious/formal tone of the original stories.
Thoughts:
I've loved this book since I was a kid, and I always longed for more stories about Mowgli growing up in the jungle and the animals he interacts with — either from his point of view or from the point of view of any of his animal friends/caretakers. I love the concept of The Law of the Jungle and would enjoy something that incorporates it. I am curious about the relationship between Baloo and Bagheera. They seem to be the guardians of the forest, taking a view that's broader than just the interests of their own kind. How did they end up being in that role? I also want to know how they came to be together instead of having families of their own kind. Feel free to bring in characters from the other stories in the book (e.g., Rikki-Tikki-Tavi).

Nero Wolfe - Rex Stout
Prompts/Thoughts

I don't have a lot of specific prompts for this. Maybe a mini-casefic, or 3:1 of Wolfean "Summation Gatherings" (to use the TV Tropes term for it) or some other repeated theme from the books

I love all of the character dynamics in these books. Feel free to bring in any of the other regular characters.

I especially love the shifting power dynamics between Wolfe and Archie in the books — Wolfe is officially in charge, of course, but there's a lot of give-and-take within that framework. I would find it interesting if their power dynamics are shifted in some way in the bedroom as well.

Some body-worship oriented smut would be much appreciated!
