Fandom-specific notes & prompts are entirely optional.
Three Thousand Years of Longing (Alithea Binnie, Djinn)
- General notes:
- OK to write about both or just one of the chars
- OK to ship the requested chars with each other and/or other chars
- The Djinn tells Alithea more stories about his past
- The Djinn tells Alithea she has another wish (maybe her first wish didn’t count because he was already in love with her)
- Post-canon, Alithea travels for work and unexpectedly encounters the Djinn
- Alithea rescues the Djinn from peril
- Sexytimes and how the Djinn’s special powers/abilities might enhance them…
- Please don’t erase the canon relationship. The story can be set pre-canon if you don’t want to write about it.
The Dispatcher series - John Scalzi (Tony Valdez)
- General notes:
- Ship or gen fic is fine.
- OK to ship Tony with any other character from the stories, or an original character.
- Explore some of the other ways people might take advantage of the series trope (“people who are killed don’t die permanently and turn up in their safe place”). Edgeplay possibilities? New corporate team-bonding activities?
- Noir AU, spy AU
- Tony is loosely on the villain side of things rather than loosely on the hero side of things
Lupin TV (Assane Diop)
- General notes:
- I haven’t watched the third season yet, so I don’t have any prompts about it, but I will have watched it by the time the collection reveals.
- Ship or gen fic is fine. I especially ship Assane/Benjamin and Assane/Youseff, and if you can figure out a way for them to have a threesome I’d be into it! Other ships are also fine (with the exception noted below), including ships with original characters
- A story set in any part of timeline is fine. Post-canon also fine.
- Canon divergence where the journalist Fabienne doesn’t get killed.
- Assane needs something from someone, and has to do a heist for them in exchange.
- Post-canon, Assane is leading a team working to take down corrupt rich people.
- Youseff gets fed up with how he’s treated in the police and Assane seduces him away from the police or he becomes a double agent.
- Crossover: Assane encounters a detective or gentleman thief from another small fandom (e.g., Poirot, Nero Wolfe, Columbo, AJ Raffles)
- No incest ships please
- No on-page noncon involving Assane please (dubcon is fine, noncon involving other characters or in characters’ backgrounds is fine).
Only Lovers Left Alive (Adam, Eve, Ada, Ian)
- General notes:
- Please include Adam and Eve in some way (if only as influences on other characters; they don’t have to appear in the story), but otherwise it’s OK to include a subset of the requested characters and to tell the story from the POV of any of the characters.
- Canon, pre-canon, post-canon settings welcome.
- Any ships welcome, including couples, moresomes, historical characters, original characters.
- I love how geeky Adam and Eve are (if geeky means “deeply interested in kind of obscure things”). If there’s a subject or activity you enjoy geeking about, I’d enjoy them talking about it or doing it or one expounding on it to the other.
- I love how confident and assured Eve is and how she’s shown to be good for Adam. It’s less clear to me how he’s good for her, but she obviously thinks he is. I’d be interested in having her take on that.
- Vampire sex, mmm
- Ian is turned rather than killed.
- Adam and Eve put together a band and go on tour
- Historical AU
- Ruminations on how being very long-lived affects one’s experience of life
- Adam/Eve broken up at the end of the story. (It’s not necessary to explicitly say they’re together, just don’t depict them as broken up.)
