Business Week of 26 Feb writes that lots of former dot-com employees are suing under labor law for stuff like
-- verbally assuring raising and promotions and then not delivering
-- failing to follow thru on employment contracts
-- failing to give job performance feedback
and labor law firms are completely swamped with these suits.

Just about everyone I know, dot-com employee or not, has experienced that stuff multiple times at multiple jobs. If it's really the kind of stuff that's actionable, imagine what would happen if everyone started suing about it all at once.
