I feel like I should make some kind of official memorial for Selkie before I can post ordinary journal entries, but I'm not ready, I don't have the words. The best way I know to grieve over this sort of thing is to distract myself until thinking about it might still feel sad but no longer produces the kind of pain that erases everything in the world but itself.

Related to this, I saved all the condolences, prayers, vibes, good thoughts, healing, and so on that the OH and I received. I appreciate them and intend to respond, but I can't yet.
