I just updated the Fat Friendly Health Professionals List.
(I don't rule so good insofar as I hadn't updated it fully in two years. But at least now it's done.)
Observations:
Lots of people (especially counselors) self-refer. This is a good thing.
Lots of people update their listings and the listings of professionals they go to. This is a good thing too.
Lots of women recommend their OB/GYNs and Reproductive Endocrinologists/Infertility Specialists. The Internet community for women seeking pregnancy must be really strong.
The relief people feel when they find respectful health professionals comes through really strongly in their recommendations. If you ever wondered how scary it is for fat people to see doctors, go read some of the recommendations.
