What is art, to you? What isn't art? Where do you draw the line, if there is one?

Art is a product or performance that puts me in awe of the skill of the artist.

I used to say "If I can look at something and say 'I could do that,' I don't consider it art."

But now I've done some things I think are pretty artistic, myself.

I'm happy about that.

[Now back to wiriting my nanowrimono, which isn't art by that definition, not yet.]

Somewhere between 5k and 6k words today. Thanks to kyubi for the encouragement! (Not only did she wear her cheerleader costume for me last night, but this afternoon she hung out on the couch while I holed up in my room for several hours and wrote.)
