firecat: red panda, winking (cat nose)
This evening I saw The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill with my sweetie [livejournal.com profile] kyubi. I liked it a lot, because it was simple and consistent and had that calming quality that only a few movies have. I noticed in the credits that Mark Bittner, the human subject of the documentary, had written a memoir with the same title. So we headed across the street to Kepler's bookstore, where I asked the clerk for a book called "The Wild Paragraphs of Telegraph Hill".
