Wolf Conservation Fundraiser:

http://catherineldf.livejournal.com/263479.html
On Sunday, July 8th, I'm kicking off a month-long fundraiser for wolf conservation. Why? Well, I just wrote a book about a woman who turns into a wolf (Silver Moon) and am working on its sequel so wolves are a big part of my writing life right now. Wolves continue to be endangered and to be far less of a threat than proponents of wolf hunting and eradication programs would have you believe. In short, wolves get a bad rap and, like a lot of other people, I'm pretty intrigued by them and I'd like them to stick around.
If you donate to either Defenders of Wildlife's Campaign to Save America's Wolves or International Wolf Center in Ely, MN and send her the receipt, she'll enter you in a drawing for a variety of prizes (mostly wolf and shapeshifter-themed books and images—see the post for specifics).

Copies of Pamela Dean's The Dubious Hills are included among the prizes.
