Heart Attack Exchange is a multifandom exchange. The challenge is to write a gift over 10,000 words in two weeks. (Really three weeks, because you have a week to edit after you've uploaded it, but it has to be a complete story within two weeks.)

I enjoyed writing both of my stories a lot, although "The Gift" wants to be three or four times as long as it is and I wish I'd had more time to do it justice.

The story I received is really haunting and wonderfully written.
